Black Toast label appears

Black Toast Music, a boutique music writer and production library accountable for placing indie artists' tunes on television, film and videogames, is starting an inhouse record label, Black Toast Records. Founded by Bob Mair in 1991, Black Toast has obtained song positioning for indie music artists (many discovered via a partnership with Taxi) on "30 Rock," "The Wire," "True Bloodstream" and "Treme." The brand new record label will feature numerous artists whose music the organization have put into Television shows previously, including The new sony Ellis, St. John, G-Stack and Paul Otten. As songwriter Richard Trapp, who records as St. John, referred to it: "How a music business continues to be decreasing, getting a brand new label like Black Toast Records gives fans of the song they heard on the favorite Television show instant gratification. They can turn to iTunes immediately after they listen to it, and snap it up ... It's advanced, like from 'The Jetsons.'" Black Toast has additionally provided music for features "Arthur" and "I Really Like You Phillip Morris," too videogames for example "Dance Dance Revolution."
